grew up in an environment, where she was taught the Bible at a very early age. This is alsowhen she began to see contradictions that she could not understand, contradictions that started a life of questioning and research. After September 11, 2001, this research took a new direction. It became crystal clear to her that our behaviors are products of what we believe and that our beliefs are formed by religion, whether we are conscious of it or not.

After research and many interviews, Coral realized that many of us do not make informed decisions about our religious beliefs. She felt it was important for us to explore why we fail to critically evaluate such important beliefs. Seven years later, these insights have made their way into her book.

Coral’s education and career has been in social services and business. Most of her work and volunteer history has involved interaction with clients that were in crisis giving her a first hand view of how our belief systems can so often cause us problems.
